HEART is a Food Pantry for the Greater Reynoldsburg Area, supported by the Reynoldsburg Ministerial Association and community partners seeking to make a difference in our community
The geographic area we serve is bounded by Hamilton Road, I-70, Havens Corners Road, and Taylor Road. If you are outside this area you are encouraged to call “211″ and they can refer you to a food pantry in your area. You can also view a partial list of other pantries by selecting the Other Food Pantries in area link on the right.
HEART is open Wednesday afternoons, Thursday evenings, and Saturday afternoons, serving people monthly as needed, and partnering with Mid-Ohio Food Bank. Clients are served by appointment only. To set up an appointment please call or text (614) 600-6065 and leave a message. Your call will be returned that evening.
Mid-Ohio Food Bank provides much of the food for HEART at low cost. Mid-Ohio Food Bank requires 5 days of food per person served, every 30 days as needed. HEART is set up as a choice pantry where families can choose from open shelves.
HOW DOES HEART IMPACT OTHER FOOD PANTRIES?
Helping Hands in the Reynoldsburg School District, other church food closets and the Eastview Food Pantry make a significant difference in our community however, the need is greater than these can meet alone.
HEART’s service area is larger than the Reynoldsburg School District, picking up some un-served neighborhoods.
HEART is an offshoot of the Reynoldsburg Ministerial Association and is run cooperatively by area churches working together. We also strongly encourage businesses to contribute both financially and in hands on support.
